Cannot get the program to start up

I am trying to test drive the vegas 17 and cannot get it to even open. It keeps closing.

There may be a text description of what the program is doing when it is starting ??

Do you have BCC add-ons from a previous Vegas? Those have prevented startup for me and others. If so, write back for workarounds.
