Cannot login to Vegas Hub

I recently took out a subscription to Vegas 20 (i have been using Vegas for a very long time). Although i was able to give my credentials for the Vegas Hub at installation, it does not seem to save this. Now I can no longer login as i receive a black window as well as constant messages "Webview2 failed initialization, error information follows" etc (see below).

The program is now useless to me as i cannot render a video without being logged into Vegas Hub.

I have read earlier threats advising to deleting the Webview2 folder in Appdata (not allowed) or undoing the lastest Windows update (too drastic and risky in my opinion).

Can anyone give me some sound advice on how to solve this?

Update: rebooted my computer and this time i was able to change the Webview2 folder and succesfully logged in again. I then restarted Vegas and this time it seems to have remembered my credentials.

So for the moment it seems to be solved.

 

Update2: hub login is OK now but not so rendering. It either waits forever to start and most of the time is crashes the system altogether. Should i go back to Vegas 18 and ask my money back?
