Cannot make Blu-ray disc

Hey everyone. This is my first attempt to create a blu-ray disc. I was given a 1440x1080 25Mbp 60i file to make a blu-ray from. When I go to make disc, it tells me that DVDA needs to recompress it. Ok, fine. The problem is I cannot get past that window. I can go into the Optimize window to change the settings, but when I click on Ok, I go back to the Error and Warnings window and the Next and Finish buttons are still greyed out. So I'm stuck. How do I get it to optimize and move on? Thanks

Maybe the file is so big it can't be recompressed enough? What size is it?

The file is 22gigs so it can fit on the disc. What's surprising is that I can't even get it to recompress.

It could be that DVD Architect can't digest that file format.

What happens if you take that video into Vegas and then export it as a BluRay ready video file?

I've just created a BR with a similar size file. Bit strange that DVDA is spittin' yours out. If it's an m2t you're better off getting Vegas to recompress it anyway. Don't forget to create separate m2v and Dolby audio files. Then no recompression within DVDA needed.

I ended up having Vegas recompress it to the BR template and everything seems to be working now. I guess there was something quirky with the file that I was given.
