Cannot register Suite v13 with Magix

HI, I downloaded this from Magix site because of the offer of version 14 next February - even though I'd just bought a version via Amazon that doesn't have that offer! However, while both versions activated ok, neither will register on the Magix site. This is a problem because the downloaded version didn't have all components, missing NewBlue and Boris, so in effect it's just Studio and not Suite version. Support says log in to 'My Products' for a new download link which isn't possible without registered products!!! Chicken and egg... any ideas?

I don't know what the hell is going on with Magix and the delivery of Vegas products, but there seems to be something terribly wrong. Magix support seems to be completely unaware of what is actually included with Vegas Movie Studio 13 Suite. I am going to email my contact at Magix directly and see if I can sort this out for everyone, but before I do, I want to make sure exactly what you do have and don't have.

I bought the download version from Sony over 2 years ago.
I am worried that you may be missing more than just the NBFX and Boris FX.

Here is the complete list of everything that is included.
Can you please tell me which items you have not received download links for and activation codes ?
Items 1, 2, 3 & 4 are all music samples and are mainly for use with Acid Music Studio.
Item 5 is video tutorials and everything else is program files.

Wow!! There is a whole bunch of stuff that is missing from the digital download from Magix. From your list, I am missing the following:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16.

Here is a copy of the email I received after purchasing Movie Studio 13 Suite:

You will notice that only the core programs, the 2 iZotope plugins and the program manuals are listed for download with serial numbers, but no where are there any links for NewBlue or Boris or any of the many other items in your above list.

Here is a screenshot of everything that is available to download on the computer, again, no NewBlue or Boris.

So hopefully you will be able to get some answers from your contact at Magix and hopefully they will make this right. I knew that I should have probably purchased the boxed version. I bet everything is on the disc.

I received a reply back from my contact at Magix, who had passed my enquiry onto another person at Magix.

Apparently all of the Music Files, Loops & Samples that Sony use to provide with Vegas Movie Studio 13 Suite, are no longer supplied with the Magix version of Vegas Movie Studio 13 Suite.

Here is the actual reply I received. I have no idea what "voucher redemption" means?

The loops and sounds are not available as a MAGIX product, as those items are not rebranded.

The New Blue, Boris, and other third party products are being added to the voucher redemption. We are currently resolving this situation.

If someone buys this package from the MAGIX site they are delivered the correct products. This issue is only with the vouchers being redeemed or the products.

The only two items on the product list I provided that are still being included is New Blue Titler & FX and Boris FX.

There is still the issue of ALL the customers who purchased Vegas Movie Studio 13 Suite through Magix and have never received download links for New Blue Titler & FX and Boris Continuum Units and also did not receive an activation code for New Blue FX.

I will start a new forum thread and try to get a Magix representative to offer a solution for customers who need download links and activation codes.

Quite frankly, I am tired of having to speak to Magix about problems that should not exist in the first place and I feel like I am working for Magix via proxy. I am not employee of Magix, yet because of my own customer base on my website, I get all the reports from new Magix customers who are getting stuffed around by Magix support not supporting them. I keep having to forward problems to Magix to get resolved and I have reached the end of my tether.

Thank you for all of your help regarding this issue. I understand the loops and music not being included and I am ok with that, but it would sure be nice to at least be able to get the NewBlue titler. It appears that no one over there seems to know what the hell is going on. I hope Magix at least appreciated my donation to them...

Hopefully someone over there will read the new forum posting and get it figured out.
