Under Vegas 8a, I now cannot rename files in the Project Media window.
I get "Cannot rename VTS_01_1(1): It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again."
If I close Vegas and rename the orig captured file, I can rename them, but then Vegas cannot find them on restart.
I have 21 files ripped from a DVD. I want to rename each to their actual name from within Vegas, but cannot.
I could do this in Vegas 7. I opened my old version of 7e and it works fine.
Am I missing something?
