This issue concerns a problem I am having with Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0 running in a Windows 7 environment.

I have been rendering files for years with Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 and have never had a problem with it. Recently, though, when I tried rendering an mp4, the tool indicated that the rendering was taking place but when it finished, the file could not be seen in windows explorer. When I tried rendering again, when I browsed to the target folder, the explorer that is part of Movie Studio showed that the previously rendered file is, in fact there.

I opened a cmd window, navigated to the target folder and did a dir/w search. The mp4 which Movie Studio is showing was not listed in the file directory.

I tried submitting a support ticket but it seems to have been either sucked into a black hole or is being ignored.

Any suggestions are welcome as I haven't a clue what is going on.
