Cannot Render unless restarted

Vegas Pro 21.0 Build 315. W11 64 GB RAM, 4 TB storage. 13th Gen Intel(R) i5-13400F (2.50 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB

Never had this issue before. Over the last couple of weeks I cannot render unless I totally restart the program. Using same settings I've always used Sony AVC MVC 1920x1080 -30P Same resolution as my OBS output. I might get away with making a couple of small changes but Rendering after a normal session what happens is the render busy bar just flashes across the dialogue box and the resulting video is 1 sec long. Also the software crashes after 3 minutes unless I enable auto save. But it's always done that. so I just leave it turned on. But it still might crash just for fun.

Why not rendering with GPU support of your NVIDIA? Use a Magix AVC/HEVC rendertemplate with NVENC. Renders much faster than those ancient Sony AVC templates.

What error messages do you get with the crash? Does Windows Reliability History say anything about what's going on?

For OBS do you use editing-friendly formats like AVC in a MP4 container and limit the keyframe interval to 1 (second)?
