Cannot run DVDA 5 b

I have purchased Sony Vegas 9, and got DVDA 5 b with it. I have installed DVDA, but it won't run, I get this:

Both Vegas 9 32 bit and Vegas 64 bit were installed and run with no probs whatsoever. My system: Vista 64 bit.

Ok, some news:
I uninstalled version 4.5 of DVDA as well. Then installed version 5b which was supplied with Vegas 9.
Now, when I run DVDA for the first time after installing it, I get:

Then I get:

Holy cow - I am the very administrator on my PC, I have absolutely all rights. And I installed and registered Vegas 9 just a couple of hours ago!!

Assuming you're using Vista, you could try right clicking on the installation file and choosing 'run as administrator'.

I am in Vista, have tried this several times - however, it does not help.
