Cannot see Guitar Rig DX in Vegas

Hello there guys from a newby in Vegas software. I'm a guitar player and need to use Native Guitar Rig. The thing is that when opening all plug ins windows I cannot see Guitar Rig thus not being able to use it.
Guita Rig comes either in VST and DX. Of course I'm trying to use DX because I read that this version of Vegas doesn't support VST. Ofk then for DX but I cannot make it work. Is there a way to move the .dll to some location, or maybe is there a way to make Vegas go and find it?
I don't remember in what sequence I installed all my software but chances are that I might have installed Vegas before installing Guitar Rig. Will I have to reinstall the guitar software then?

Your help is appreciated

Many thanks in advance

Don't have this one in house yet, so I am not certain, but Guitar Rig is probably being exposed as a DXi, not a DX. Vegas does not support DXis, even though in this case GuitarRig is not an "instrument", but just a DX FX with MIDI control capabilities.

Peter, thanks for your quick reply. You're right, Guitar Rigs is indeed a DXi application. Sad to know that Vegas doesn't support it. Eventually, do you know if there are future changes to allow the use of DXi?

Thank you

Michael;

I use Cakewalk VST to Dx adapter 4 and I can very well see guitar rig in my Vegas 5.

Sari, thanks to you for your help and it is good to know. Is it hard to install? Is there a particular installing procedure to let Vegas see my Guitar Rig?

Many thanks again
