Cannot see highlight on the menu tree on the left

Rich-Johnson wrote on 10/2/2018, 1:55 PM

When I am typing in chapter names into DVD Architect, there is a navigation pane/tree to the left.
The text used to be highlighted over there so I could confirm that I was changing the correct
chapter marker on the work space. It does not exist now. I would like to see if anyone knows how
to get that back on and hopefully darken it

What doesn't exist? The entire panel?

Or is the panel there but the structure tree doesn't show? Can you post a screen shot so we can see what you're seeing?

Thanks. You can see the tree, but the text on the tree will not highlight when
you click on a chapter in the work space. I used to click on a chapter in the
work space and it would highlight the corresponding text in the tree. (If you
click directly on text in the tree it will highlight, but that is not what I am referring
to.)

Are you sure that area is associated with that Title Button?

Rich-Johnson wrote on 10/2/2018, 2:42 PM

Absolutely. I have dealt with this for a few months.
I am certain that when I click on a chapter in the work space that
the corresponding text on tree does not highlight. (I know this isn't
the biggest deal, I just like to click on the next chapter down on
the work space, then look to the left to see what is highlighted.)

Does it work for you? I'm assuming you have the latest version.

No, I still use 5.2, BUT I did a screen cap on your image and the Work Space title is highlighted. It is a very, very light grey. I loaded it into Photoshop and see that the area around the current title is slightly grey compared to the surrounding white. I don't know why it is so light unless it is part of the Color Scheme that Magix is using. Look real close at the image you uploaded and you will see it.

In my DVDA7 Build 84 it's highlighted as per Rich's screenshot. But as David points out the highlighting is light grey against a white background.

Rich-Johnson wrote on 10/2/2018, 5:21 PM

I do see that is lightly there. It is too light to help me much. Do your guys' look darker?

Former user wrote on 10/2/2018, 5:24 PM

In 5.2 it seems a little more obvious highlight, but it may depend upon the brightness of your monitor.

Rich-Johnson wrote on 10/2/2018, 5:36 PM

I did adjust my monitor's brightness and contrast so at least I can see it faintly. Too bad it can't be
darker, but seems this is as good as it gets.

Thank you all for your help!
