I've been using this render technique for the past 500 years (not literally) every day. I don't know why, but Vegas always seems to act up on me and force me to find another way to upload .MP4.
i cannot see the yellow Loop marker over the timeline, your filesize preview in the render window also states only some KB for about ~20sec Video?
double click somewhere to mark the full Region and render as again.
I agree. You seem to be rendering a loop region that is further along your timeline. Disable that in the render options or put it over the region you want to render.
Stick with MAGIX AVC/AAC.
