Canon HF 10 & 100 question

With only havimg the LCD screen as a viewer can you see anything in bright sun light. I have always had a problem.seeing anything on other lcd panels in sunlight.

LCDs now are a bit better in sunlight but I'd look at a Hoodman LCD hood for the cam. That will take care of any issues you may have. IMO, the built in viewfinders on most of the little HDV cams are crap anyway, so I'd take a shaded, larger LCD to compose and focus with .
