canon hv20 no video capture

Just install vegas studio platinum I am connect via firewire to my Canon HV20 camera I cannot capture the video the audio comes accross but not the video what am I doing wrong? I did a vegas update to 9b but didn't fix problem.

You capture via firewire and not via usb, right? Make sure you have set your time/date in the camera, make sure that "DV is not locked" in the hv20 settings, and make sure you used the HDV capture method and not the DV one.
