Canon XF200 MXF files

Hi,
Just like to know if Vegas Pro 12 64 bit can recognise the MXF file format used by the Canon XF100/200 series of video cameras. I'm about to change cameras but I want to avoid having to convert files using third party conversion software so hoping Vegas Pro (64 bit) can handle MXF?

I have an XF300. I use the Canon Import Utility. I have successfully used/run this for VP12 and VP13 and have had no issues importing MXF files. I can't see why this would be any different to the XF100 or XF200, but IF you are in any doubt get to some XF100/200 raw footage and test on VP13.

I use MXF from Canon XF100 and XF300 with Vegas Pro 12 and 13 also, with no problems.

However, Vegas Studio 13 does not recognize them.

Edit:

I was able to get Vegas Studio to recognize an MXF by renaming the file suffix it to MPG. But it isn't finding the audio. Hmmm.

Edit 2: Rendering of MXF renamed to MPG to m2ts in Studio was not very successful. Lots of black frames.
