Cant open AVI files in viscosity

Hi,

When I go into Viscosity and try to open any avi files, I get a message saying file is not supported or is corrupt. I have these files in a project i am working on in VV2 and they seem to be fine. i have tried several different files and get the same message. i just installed Viscosity

The files that wont open are files i captured with my video camera. There are some avi files that will open, but they are a lot smaller and are animations.

Viscosity will open uncompressed .avi files (which you can create in Vegas), but it will not open .avi DV files of any kind.

If I go to an event on the timeline in vegas and right click and select open in viscosity, i still get this error. Is this normal?

Also, I cant open a file that i have rendered as an uncompressed avi in vegas. ive tried this with several files. i have uninstalled viscosity and reinstalled already, but this didnt help.

I rendered an uncompressed file and it worked fine.
