as the title reads. i picked up sony vegas during the humble bundle sale for 45 bucks and have finally gotten some time to video edit. but i cant due to the fact that it just refuses to open. i've tried some of the pre-existing fixes nothing. and im just tired and want it to work. please just any help would be great

There is no "Sony" Vegas in that Humble Bundle. It clearly said Magix.
As noted above, your computer specs should be listed in your User Profile>Signature like mine below.
Also, did you install it on your C: drive?
Maybe driver problem try with voukouder is free the old version!
I'd try the Microsoft Visual C++ fix above.
Other idea is if you have it installed in French try English and see if it works.
