capture cant see camcorder

anyone have any Ideas why my little Panasonic GS9 mini DV that I use to capture, print to DV, and output to a TV No longer is recognized in capture ( at least since 6c and 6d) but is still recognized and functions for output. Works fine capturing in Avid Liquid, and Premiere pro 2, but I always prefered the vegas capture.

Have you tried looking for an updated Panasonic driver for capture on Panasonic's website? Sometimes it can be something this simple.

Something else to try is to see if Sony Support can provide you with an alternate .dll file(s) to get it to recognize your cam. I know they do this for burners that DVDA won't recognize, maybe for cams too.
