Capture Device

I have a Pinnacle AV/DV2 capture board installed on my PC I can capture video using Pinnacle Video Studio 9 and Ulead Studio 8 however when I attempt to use Vegas 5 I get an error that it can't access the device or another program is using the device. I have turned off capture device control in the preferences and still no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion would be to try downloading the trial version of ScenAlyzer at www.scenalyzer.com - see if it has problems with your capture card. If it doesn't, purchase it and use it instead of Vegas Capture.

Pinnacle uses a proprietary capture format. Premiere, Vegas, Ulead, and most others don't. Once you start down the Pinnacle path...
