Capture from All-In-Wonder

What format should I record video in from my AIW tuner if I want to edit it in Movie Studio and burn it in DVD Architect? Currently the AIW i set to MP2 (labled DVD quality). I bring that into Movie Studio to clean it up, choose Make Movie which renders it, then open it (from Movie Studio) in Architect. Architect then renders it AGAIN, and finally burns a DVD. Is there a better (read:faster) process?

Ideally you should be capturing in AVI format. Unfortunately i think the only option you have with the AIW is to capture uncompressed, which means over 100GB/hour.
