Capture HD video problem in editing

I'm capturing HD footage of my xh-a1, but when I get it on the timeline the video is unclear in the viewer. Is there anything I can do about this?????

Set your project properties the same as your footage.
You do this by clicking the folder icon in the upper RH corner of the project properties dialog, and selecting one of your project media, then clicking "Apply."

I'm sure you already know how to set your preview properties for clearest playback.

I've got a 2-1/2 hr project using two of these cams and the preview is crystal clear.
