Capture In Progress - long after capture ceased?

Hi folks,

Having edited my captured files I tried closing down my .vf file that I've been saving intermittently whilst working on it. Every time I try to close it down I get the message 'Capture In Progress. Do you want to continue capturing?'

I keep typing yes and so can't shut down my computer. However, the capture was done several hours and all I've been doing is editing the file and saving as .vf.

Can anybody advise as I need to turn this computer off soon so that I can get some sleep!

Perhaps you should try answering "no", since you've finished capturing.

Why do you have to turn your computer off? Mine are generally on constantly 24/7. They never kept me from sleeping.

Thanks Chienworks. This happens each time. Last time I selected 'no' I couldn't re-open the files if memory serves.

The computer is quite noisy (loud fan) and is about 18 inches from where my head is when I sleep. And I'm a light sleeper - not a good combination!
