"Capture" prefers other program

Suddenly I am only getting "Connect a Device" after the Vegas Capture program opens.
For fun I tried the silly MSMovie Maker and it worked just fine...................

What are you connecting to?

Did you reboot?

Did you turn on the camera (or device) then open capture window?
