Capture problem

Capture from my Sony DCR-HC47 works well. By whrn I try to capture from my older cam, Sony IP55 (micro MV), I receive a message "Microsoft AV/C tape subunit device" and "Preview is turned off". It's not possible to capture video.
In both cases, I use the IEEE1394 port.
Any suggestions?

Don't know for sure, but isn't MicroMV a SONY proprietary format that isn't compatible with anything else in the known universe?

You need to use the software it came with to capture from that camera. The question was popped up in the past here, Vegas doesn't support capturing from it.

Thanks guys ... I will keep on using Studio 8 to capture the microMV format, and start to think about a new HD cam. Well, the IP55 cam still works good.
