Capture transport stream issue

I have captured today m2t footage from the HD100, as some of you may have read in another stream.

Funny, what happened here. I captured via firewire and with Vegas 6.0b on my laptop. With file/capture video/use internal video capture application. and IEEE 1394/mpeg-2 TS device.

The camcorder was identified immediately, capturing was fine too. I captured above the end of the video.

Ok, imported in Vegas, the video showed a length of 20 minutes, instead of the 5 minutes. Audio was much shorter then the video part (and correct in the length). The material was extremly hard to edit. When you moved the cursor with the jogshuttle, the material jumped to other places.

Any idea what went here wrong?
