do you have a Matrox G400 or another dual head graphics card?

sometines the video won't show in one monitor but will in the other-

I just got Vegas video, and I cannot figure out how I would organize my clips into proper categories, and also title each clip individually, there must be someone out there laughing saying "all he has to do is __________________" Can someone please fill in the blank for me, you would help me a ton.

Yes I am running a Matrox G400TV however I am not using it as a dual head because there are no driver for XP.

meir, Well, i haven't found any way to do this with the Vegas media pool, but while you're still in Video Capture you can right-mouse-button click on the clips and choose rename from the pop-up menu. Since the clips are displayed alphabetically, you can start the name of each clip with a word for the category. The clips will then be grouped in the media pool by these category names.

You can also use Windows explorer to rename the clips. The problem with this is that if you already have the clips in your media pool or in a project in Vegas, then Vegas won't be able to find them. The next time you open that project you'll have to specify the new name as a replacement file. It's not a difficult thing to do, but it is an extra step for each file you've renamed.

I am also using XP, 1.8 processor, 512 Ram, P4. The video card is a Matrox Millenium Flex 3D which is dual. I tried using a second monitor as suggested but I didn't get anything on that monitor. Any other suggestions?
