I can capture video just fine with Capture 2.0h in Vegas Video 3, but when I try to capture with the Vegas 4 Beta software, no luck. Funny though, I can actually see the capture preview for a brief second or 2 in Vegas 4 whenever I shuffle through the menus to try to figure out what’s wrong.

I've also been getting the error that says “the device Microsoft DV Camera and VCR could not be opened…Please make sure the device is turned on and not being used by another application”. What do I need to do to capture with vegas 4 sucessfully?

I’m using the Sony Media Converter.

Any thoughts?
