capturing form xl1s

I shoot using the frame mode on my xl1s, which does 30 fps. Is there any special considerations for capturing the 30fps video in Vegas? I know Vegas has a separate 24 fps capture more in order to be compatible with the dvx1000 but the closest to what I think is appropriate is th 29.975 fps capture setting. Am I right? Any help greately appreciated.

I was wondering that as well, I just got a new GL2 which has the "Frame Mode", I haven't used it yet, but I was wondering if you need to do anything diffrent in Vegas when capturing / rendering.

No problems at all (I have two XL1s cameras). The frame movie mode captures 30 frames per second but each frame is still comprised of two individual fields. Vegas can't tell the difference between it and regular DV -- the fields are just snapped at the same moment in time instead of 1/60 of a second apart.

You'll run into anomalies resampling frame movie mode footage into slow motion though, since vegas blends fields, so experiment.
