Capturing video in movie studio plat 12

After capturing video and than saving, the clips are all broken into smaller clips but should be one large clip. Never had this trouble before. I'm using a Sony HDR-HC1 with firewire Any suggestions? Thanks

What capture settings did you use?

There are only two possibilities:
1. You have Scene Detection enabled; or,
2. You have discontinuous timecode (dropouts) on your tape.

So I started to capture another tape with the same results as the previous problem. Instead of one long clip it is broken into many little clips. While watching the camera screen there is no stutter or jerkiness on the tape. I do have the scene detection disabled. Any ideas as to what would cause this? Thanks
