Capturing Video Problem

Okay I am a newbie and cannot figure out how to do the following:

I click the import video icon on Movie Studio and then select the DV mode. A new window opens up that says Sony Video Capture 6.0 and I selected to capture my entire video tape.

My question is how do I get these captured video clips into the movie studio software?

I tried to drag a clip from the window into the timeline of the software and that worked. However, it said across the video football 'media offline' so I don't know what that means.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Find where Capture is saving the clips (usually somewhere on your Documents folder), and then simply use the "Open" icon on the Project Media tab.

Vegas will say "media offline" if it isn't the current active window on your desktop. Simply click anywhere in the Vegas window to make it active and bring it to the front, and the "media offline" message will disappear.
