CD Burning Freeze out

I am trying to burn a cd from Vegas Video 3.0c. Disc at once. I have tried various burn speeds.
The CDR will write the lead-in. Then the display will indicate that it is writing the tracks, however the activity light on the CDR indicates that it is not writing. The Vegas display indicates that the track writing is up to 100%. Thenn..the program and the CDR freeze and I must reboot. The CD is then unusable.I tried re-installing Vegas.I looked on the forum and found that there is the possibility of a conflict with CD creator 5. I have uninstalled this product and still have the exact same results. I am able to write from other proams such as Samplitude. Do you know of a fix or work around for this.

I use Ulead's Dvd Movie Factory to burn my cds with menus, background music and any background image you want or you can use NTI Cd Maker, Nero to name a few. Movie Factory will even burn non-standard vcds (xvcds)...

Thanks..but I'm just trying to burn an audio cd right from Vegas without having to render to a separate file.

Nero, NTI CD Maker can do just that. Just drag your files and click write, that's it, no rendering of files.
