CD Burning /Rendering audio

Okay finally got a project mixed using a bunch of Waves plugins, On the first burned cd no FX were on it, I took a shot in the dark and added 2 busses in the preferences and the FX came on the next cd but the voice track timing is off a touch and the Waves tune is not correcting some notes. Ideas? I am not used to this, usually what you hear is what you get on the cd. I do get a message in Waves tune that says something about the rewire link not working check you settings but I thought that was just for Pro tools, could not figure out what the heck they meant. Frustrated. 8.0 was easier. Any ideas?? Oh and I tried rendering the mix to another track and got the same results.

Rewire is a Propellerheads (the people who make Reason) protocol. It's never been supported in Vegas. So maybe there's something about that in the Waves plugins that you should disable.

Wow so it looks like Waves Tune is useless in Vegas. I cannot find anywhere to disable rewire and it sounds like it may be key to sync and output. I guess I'll have to call Waves on Monday to confirm this. Is there any pitch correction program that works with Vegas 14, I've already read that Antares 8 does not.? My old 32 bit system is looking [ and sounding ] better every day. So far I have spent a lot of money for nothing, at least they could also give me the chicks for free!! LOL Really I am bumming, I understand buyer beware but this information is not readily available without quite a bit of effort. It is really looking more and more like I may have to dump Vegas for another host program. What a shame as I have been a Vegas guy for about 15 years.

Maybe some clues here:

and here:

At least worth a read before you call them. It sounds like Waves should come with the Rewire stuff that you need, and actually you need to install it rather than disable it. But obviously Vegas is not high on the list of DAW's that Waves' users use, as it's not mentioned.

I found the rewire installer and ran it 3 times, refreshed the vst folder, closed and re-opened the host, restarted the computer etc. So far rewire is not showing up anywhere except in the program files folder. Bummer!!

What does really look strange -- how come a person-with-demands did not care to read the technical specs / compatibility information in advance.

English-on-white:
