CDA 5.2 - completely separate program?

Hello All:

Sorry, I'm sure this is a dumb question, but does the upgrade from 5.0(a) to 5.2 create a completely separate instance of CDA -- i.e., can I uninstall 5.0a now that I have completed running the 5.2 upgrade "patch"? If I've made a few of you chuckle out there, then I guess I've made the world a better place... : )

yes, you can safely delete 5.0, 5.2 is a seprate program.

I think if you uninstall 5.0 your directx plugins that come with it will be uninstalled aswell. I don't Think the plugins come with 5.2, you need 5.0 installed to use it's plugins with 5.2.

What plugins? All of mine seem to be here....then again - I also have vegas 5, so they probably come with that too.

Addtionally, that seems kind of rediculous - why have TWO completely diff. versions of CD Arch. on the same machine, in 2 different folders...
