i have been using win 98 for a couple of years with cd architect. and have had no problems untill i upgraded to w2k. and it shows my cd writer in the drive list but wont show the cdr in the lower task bar of the program ,and wont barburn to it. the error message said it is not able to write because it canot write play list .I had no problems on 98

I had seen this problem before. Hmmm.. This is what I did to fix it.

I uninstalled CDA/SF45x and then rebooted. Then (since I have a SCSI burner)
I installed the latest version of the ASPI software that Adaptec had listed
on it's website (www.adaptec.com)

Then I re-installed CDA and rebooted. Now it works fine. I just wish I could
get it to see my drive under XP... I save that for another rainy day.
