I'm creating a short video in VMSP-7 that will be converted to a flash presentation for a web site. I want the video to play across the entire top banner of the site - meaning it will be very wide but not very high. I will be shooting the video in 16:9 and in such a way so that the subject matter is centered vertically - allowing me to crop out the top and bottom to make this wide but not tall.
Is there anyway in VMS to:
1. Crop the video so that only the center portion (vertically speaking) from far-left to far-right is exported?
2. Change the export settings to allow me to customize the output size?
Example of what I need (hopefully these characters will align when I post this)... If the characters below represent a full screen 16:9 video - I only want to use the portion denoted with the plus-signs (+) and I only want the final export to be the size of the area with +'s - discarding all other video top and bottom.

Possible?
