Change Fade Type default

Whenever I want to apply the fade type, it always gives me fade type option 4, but I need option 2 most of the time.

Is it possible to adjust this?

I think so.
Look at my screenshot.
You get "Internal" by starting the preferences plus key Shift

And just curious, did you use the red numbers and ovals from Vegas itself or from photoshop?
