Change Frame Media Color

I added a theme that uses colored Frames around the video clips used as chapter points. I need to change the color of the frame. It looks like the file is called "Button-shape.png" under Button Properties-Media-Frame Properties-Frame Media. I am pretty sure I did this in Vegas 5.0 but now have Vegas 8.0 and I cannot seem to find a way to do it. Can anyone help?

Assuming you don't want to swap in another button style, you can open Button-shape.png in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and recolor it there.

To do this, select the button on your Workspace and, from the Button Properties pane and, on the Media page, go to Frame Properties/Frame Media. When you drop-down the menu for the button, you'll find the option to Open in Graphics Editor.

There you can change the color and either replace it or save the revised button to a location where you can browse to it.

Thanks Steve! Is there any way to do this in DVD Architect itself similar to changing say the text?

The themes (backgrounds, buttons, etc.) consist of image files.
DVDA does not have image editing capabilities built in.
As was correctly stated, use an image editor to alter the original image files or create your own.
