Change of rate vocals turns to flat Sony Vegas 5

Hi to all forum mates,

I am using sony vegas 5.00 version.My question is when I finish my vocal recording with the music track than I intend to change the rate and when I speed up the song than the whole track exclusively my vocals all the eq's reverb or any other track fx turns to flat.

I want the whole of the song to be played to its originally recorded form with all fx applied even if the rate is been changed anf not to go flat.

Please assist with the appropriate answer.

When you scrub or shuttle play the project, all FX are bypassed and remain bypassed until you stop and restart playback,

Transport rate change is not a change to the actual project, so it is not part of the rendering.

If you want a rate change that is part of the final output you need to apply an fx or at the individual event level. Typically a rate a pitch shift overall are applied post render. You can try placing a pitch/rate change on the master bus or at the track, but if you change the duration, then what you see and hear will not be the same.
