Changing 3D Right/Left on Event Pan Crop

Right now I'm cropping an image thats a little different in the Left and Right eyes. So far as I can tell there's only one Event Pan Crop for a clip that applies the same to both images. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems to me that the preview image in the pan/crop screen is the Left side, my question is there an option to switch it to the right side?

Are you trying to combine two images on the timeline?

If so you can place the corrected image (eye) on top of the image via a second track above.
Then use the masking tool in the pan crop window to cut out the areas that must not show. You can add many masks with the pen tool.

I was looking to confirm the pan/crop tool preview window will only show the left side image of a stereo subclip.

I'll explain what I've been doing. I have a stereo backdrop and I have a stereo figure shot against a blue screen that I'm overlaying and flying around the screen a bit. There was a piece that needed to be masked off the figure. What looked good on the left image of the figure needed to be slightly adjusted for the right.

My understanding is the crop tool doesn't separate into any kind of left/right tool. Its one workspace applied to both images.

What I decided to do was just copy it, switch the project to right eye only, and tweak the crop to suite the right eye, but couldn't find any way to change the image inside the pan tool to reflect the right side. I was still able to do the work by looking at the result though the video preview but that wasn't a great way to work.
