changing appearence of clips on timeline

Hi, this might be a silly question but I recently upgraded from vegas pro 18 to vegas pro 22 and I'm really struggling with the new timeline appearance. Specifically how the clips look. In the first photo, is a screenshot of a clip from 18 and you can see that there's white space between the thumbnails. the second image is the same clip from 22 but there's no white space and more thumbnails. I know that people probably prefer this but I'm finding it too overwhelming/busy visually when you've got lots of clips on the timeline and it's giving me a headache (I get migraines). Is there any way to make clips in v22 look like they did in previous versions?

I'm using windows 10, a licenced version of vegas, and Nvidia Gforce GTX 1650 graphics card.

Go to Options/Preferences/Video (tab) and select 'Head' (or another choice if you should so wish) in the 'Thumbnails to show in video event' field. If you check that same field in Vegas Pro 18, you'll be able to see what setting you made in VP18.
