Changing Preview Window Color From Black?

When nothing resides on the timeline whatsoever, the Preview Window itself shows up as BLACK until you drag some media onto the timeline. Is there a way to change this color? I cannot find anything in the preferences that allow for a change here.

Yes, I know I can just drag a solid color media to the timeline, but why do that if I can change it elsewhere.

And I'm not talking about the Default, Black, White Background setting either.

For instance, when starting with any text or objects that are black on a transparent background, this requires me to drag a solid media color other than black to the timeline. This is just one of those nit-picky things that's not of the greatest importance obviously, but would come in handy.
