changing text boxes

I have just updated to movie studio 10. Great that we have the added tracks. I have been working on a project. Saved it. Came back the next day and wanted to change the size of one of the texts. I opened the box as usual, changed the text in the dialogue box but when I closed it the text stayed the same on the screen. I tried a number of times even moving the text around and it doesn't change. Why is that ?? The only way around it is to make the changes in the dialogue box, copy it and put it in another text box but that is a real pain.

Any suggestions.

I have latest download and I am using windows 7

Just a guess, but are you sure you're looking at the correct text event? The preview window shows you the text event where the cursor is, not the one you're editing. I always click somewhere in the middle of the text event i want to edit first to get the cursor on it before opening up the edit window.

The changes will show as you make them. They do not take effect when you close the box. I suspect Chienworks is right. Your cursor is not on the same box as you are editing.
