Changing Text once in a Media Generated Event?

I have a Media Generated Text that I added multiple keyframes (about 10) to and did some fancy stuff with the text (set it larger, smaller, etc. kind of to make it "bounce and dance"). Now I want to duplicate the event, and simply change the text, retaining the effects. I've found that I have manually change the text for each of the 10 keyframes. If I ctrl-select all keyframes, then change the text, it still only changes for the first keyframe.

Is there any way to change the text once and it changes for every keyframe?

Thanks,

Not that i've ever seen. Unfortunately this is one huge oversight in SONY's keyframing. You'll would have the same problem even if you tried editing the original event instead of the copy. What keyframing really needs is a way to apply changes to multiple keyframes.

There have been times when i've found it easier to delete all the keyframes, then make the change i need, then add the keyframes back in. Painful.

Not what I had hoped for. Thanks for the reply.

Definitely an enhancement request that Sony should entertain!
