I have edited a video in movie studio. i am putting markers into certain points of the movie with the goal of those markers being separate chapters in the final dvd.

When i chose to make movie in movie studio, i check mark the save markers button.

i've burned the dvd and the markers are there because i hit the next button on my remote and it jumps forward and back to the same points i added my markers to.

i have been unable to figure out how to make each of those marker points appear as separate chapters during the creation of the dvd.
can anyone point me towards the steps to take? does the rendering have to be mpg instead of avi or vice versa?
