Chapter selection not working

hey guys,

I have a problem with Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0. In the trimmer, i put in markers and name them with no problem. I also save them with no problem. Trouble is, after I render/make movie, chapter selection does not work in playback???? What am I doing wrong?

Just a little more info; I "do" select the "save markers/regions" in the "render as" window. No matter what program I watch my movie in, i can not skip chapters.

I do believe Markers are there to let you know when something important happens on the timeline, kind of like keyframes. Chapters let you jump ahead, on the DVD. If you make a menu in DVD Architect, I believe it lets you put in Chapters.

Someone else chime in, too, to help here.

Wow!! I got it too work in the preview of dvd architect!! Thanks for that tidbit!!
However, what's the point of making/naming markers/chapters in Movie studio if they do not translate to the dvd achitect?? It says it does in the booklet. Is there a way to load the saved markers from movie studio so they will apead in dvd architect?

Thanks again!! I have been struggling with this for 2 days. Keeps me up nights. LOL!!!

After rendering, Vegas creates two files: the movie file, and a file with the same name with the extension .sfl Make sure that sfl file is in the same directory as the movie file, when you work in DVDA, because in the sfl file Vegas keep record of chapters.
