Choppy Video?

OK, I'm a beginner w/ VV, but i keep having this same problem no matter what I do. I open a .wmv 57 some minute file, then I cut out an audio portion to attempt to bring the audio back in sync with video, but when I preview in Windows Media Player, the video is more like still images rather than being smooth. I tried all the preview settings every which way, but doesnt seem to make it like it was originally. Can somebody help me?

How does it play back from the preview window if you set the draft quality?

Microsoft's Media Player is notorious for screwing up the play back of all types of media. It isn't close to being the best player, in fact it is one of the worst in my opinion. I would first try playing back your video in several other players to see if you can duplicate the problem.

I tried and, it still comes in "still images", but a tad bit smoother than Windows Media Player, unfortunetly, I can't play .wmv in any other player
