Hi Guys. Here's my Christmas want list! I've been using
Vegas professionally now for about 6 months, and it's a
great program and works very well. This is a list of ideas
I've collected that would make my work easier.
1. Ability to hide tracks to recall later (archive).
2. Mute all bus sends (post volume mode) when soloing tracks
3. Auto size FX window to size of effect program displayed
4. Change volume quick-key ("v") to show/hide instead of
create/delete
5. Group muting (and track grouping in general)
6. All mute/unmute button
7. Zoom ratio number display (useful when using nudge to get
back to same pixel ratio when zooming out and in)
8. Copy, cut, and paste between different projects
9. When saving, a "move all files" option
10. Ability to highlight all segments to the left and/or
right of highlighted segment on a single track.
Bugs:
1. After extreme normalization, fades produce a click unless
they end right at the 0 point of a wave cycle.
2. When reopening a file that is already open, Vegas crashes
(consistently)
Question:
How do I set the default for the program to let all Aux
sends be post-volume instead of pre-volume when I start a
new project or create a new track?
Thanks for a great program, over all!!!
Sincerely,
Ray Shaffer
