I understand the basic principles about chroma key. What I'd like is a step by step tutor for using the VV3 chroma function.
You see, I moved away from Ulead Studio 5.0 to MGI VideoWave 4.0 because it had chroma key functions. I was not wholly satisfied with its performance. So I purchased VV3 due to being advised the chroma key abilities were superior to MGI (Now Roxio).
After experimenting with it, I am not able to isolate the foreground so I can place a background static graphic behind the subject. Instead the chroma key mangles the subject as well as convert the color selected. Currently, I am looking for new background material and perhaps some lighting
equipment to se if that alleviates the situation. But I suspect I must be doing some thing wrong with the software. Neither the manual nor the Windows
help files tell you much.
