Cineform codec still causing crash in Vegas

I have a project that I edited in H.264, which I then wanted to take to Cineform codec for color correction. I encoded everything in AVI through NeoScene and made a duplicate of the project file, renaming it NON PROXY <projectname>.

However, now when I open the project I get an immediate crash from Vegas. It reports as below:

I have tried searching this forum, reinstalling cineform and uninstalling GoPro Studio, as well as reinstalling both. It consistently crashes in BOTH Vegas 12 and Vegas 13.

There is a thread about a replacement cfhd.dll, but I can't seem to locate that file on my system, does anyone know where I should be looking to replace that file?

Thanks!

If you can't raise the bridge, perhaps you can lower the river. Have you considered DNxHD or Lagarith as intermediate codecs?

I would be happy to use DNxHD, is there a batch converter for that? I don't want to have to do it all by hand.

Cliptoolz Convert is a graphical frontend to ffmbc and it should be able to batch convert to DNxHD for you.

If you happen to be a Vegasaur user, then it's transcoder feature can handle this for you.
