Just is discovered it work with Chrome and Firefox, but not Opera. Try a different browsers. I have asked why it is browser sensitive.

Thanks David. Actually I am using Firefox 10.0.2, but got it to work with Internet Explorer. I didn't report to support because your site told me that it was automatically alerting support, so didn't seem necessary to double up. However when the fault continued I posted here, which wasn't particularly smart (on my part).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this problem doesn't seem to be solved (unless my upgrade to NeoScene 5.6.2 didn't work properly). In an earlier test, a render to a Cineform AVI (from composited Cineform clips) went perfectly, BUT, a recent render to WMV from the same source rendered numerous problems. More disturbing, the audio seems now to get corrupted. Please check out the 3 attached screenshots:

2 showing the source video and output video:

...and one showing the audio waveform with source on top, and output on bottom:

I'm going to contact Cineform and make sure the latest version fix installed properly.

Talked with David Newman and Jake, another tech guy at Cineform. They made sure that I have their latest fix. Unfortunately, the problem is not solved and seems to either be Vegas code, or an additional problem with Cineform that they are unaware of. Attached is a screenshot of a black rendered frame from my project when rendering to a WMV (in beta build 583). :(

I'm testing the latest 595 build right now.

Hmmmm.... tested with build 595 and couldn't recreate. Could this finally be fixed? Still not convinced and will test more when I get back from my trip on Monday.

I had so many problems with build 595 in the first few hours.... crashes and a weird render bug.... but, maybe, this bug is fixed. Didn't see anything in the release notes about it though.

Lets us know, it seems you have a project that causes a failure we can't reproduce here. Hopefully 595 did fix it.
