What are you watching the file with? If you are seeing glitches in the playback, download VLC or Windows Media Player Classic. I experienced the same thing using Windows Media Player.

If that is not the case, give more detail.

If you try to play a Cineform rendered file in Windows Media player or similar, depending on a lot of things, but that is irrelevant no, the end result may look bad. Cineform is an intermediate format, it is not a playable format. Put the AVI on your Vegas time line? Does it look OK? If it does it is.

Cinform avi intermeadiaries play just fine in stand alone players. If they do do play perfectly with excelent image in say Nero showtime then you have a problem in the files.

It looks bad,really bad.It doesn't matter weather I play it on wmplayer or import back in vegas.And I never had any problems with it untill I upgraded to vegas pro 8.By the way,it looks like a you tube mp4 upscaled to hd and full of red and green dots and lines.Very weird.
